A leading company in the logistics industry was faced with the challenge of efficiently managing various load carriers in his automated high-bay warehouse. The implementation of the DT-1,2-1500 rotary telescopic fork provided an optimal solution. The system enables reliable handling of Euro and CHEP pallets with a load of up to 1,000 kg. With its robust design and versatile application possibilities, the DT-1,2-1500 contributes significantly to increased efficiency and process optimization in warehouse operations.

Optimal adaptation to different types of load carriers

The high-bay warehouse realized by our customer stores both Euro pallets and closed CHEP pallets. The DT-1.2-1500 enables seamless integration of both pallet types without the need for time-consuming conversions or additional tools. Due to its high load capacity and precise control, it ensures safe and efficient transport of the load carriers within the storage system.

Maximum use of space without the need for slave pallets

A key advantage of the rotary telescopic fork is that it can be used to store closed pallets directly, without the need for additional slave pallets. This allows optimal use of available storage space, which in turn increases storage capacity. The customer benefits from improved space efficiency and reduced operating costs.

Technical data:

• Load carrier: Euro and CHEP pallets

• Load weight: 1,000 kg

• Stroke: 1,400 + 30 mm

• Rotating angle: 180°

• Rotating time for 180°: 5 s

• Turning diameter: 1,600 mm

• Length of the unit: 1,500 mm

• Self weight of the unit: 825 kg

With the DT3-0.5-1630, we have developed a rotary telescopic fork especially for the automated double-deep storage of IBC containers, amongst others. The special feature: It can be used to drive into load carriers that are closed at the bottom – even with drive-in windows that are closed all around. You do not need an additional assistant pallet and can therefore store more pallets with the same storage volume. The double-deep storage additionally increases the capacities. Thanks to the smaller turning diameter compared to a rotary pushing fork, the rotary telescopic fork can be used flexibly. Load carriers can be handled from both sides as well as from the front, and Euro pallets can be stored crosswise. The effective avoidance of top heats in the racking reduces the storage volume, which leads to significant cost savings.
